Just playing around with a few awesome tutorials I found on how to make sick backgrounds right outta PS. This actually might end up being the backdrop for a piece of fan art I'm working on.... :eyes:

Ohh yeah I remember you did one in the background for a pic you did of Cameron once!! 8DD [link] Here's a link to a whole bunch of awesome PS tutorials, if you ever get the chance to frig with it sometime. There may be stuff in there that could even give you ideas on how to do different things, even if you don't have CS3. :shrug:

Oooooh, that looks REALLLLLLLY COOOOL!!!!!!!! Like, totally. Seriously, for real you should totally like add cool stuff to that and make it a wallpaper. I'm like not even kidding. That is so freakin' sick, I would so use it!!!!!!!!!! 8DDDDD kwefaehwfk BAHHHHH I WANN USE IT is it the right pixel size for a wallpaper?????

Thank you Hannah! I love it. A lot of these effects are actually really easy to achieve. I found a whole bunch of links to some awesome PS tutorials, all I had to do was Google it. 8DD

That looks awesome, Vin. How do you make those little light artifacts in Photoshop? Like the lens flare. Is there a trick for that?

Yeah, I used a lens flare filter underneath most of the layers. The trick here is a lot of layers all with different blend modes. To make a lens flare I think you click Filter > Render > Lens flare. It's one of the most simple filters to use, and possibly one of the most overused as well, haha.

I'm glad you like it. This program works wonders!!!!!
