THIS FILE IS HUGE. Fullview size is even huger and may crash your browser if you don't have high-speed internet idk??
I wanted this to be a type of advertisement for Nolan's robotics company (aptly known as NTG Industries), but done as a sort of spin on Apple since all his robots are built on and run Mac OS X. And also highlighting the fact that he's eight years old and founding a huge robotics industry that will change the way the world interacts with robots (starting with the invention and production of WALL-E!) by using the mantra "Think different... really different."
(I have a more detailed explanation of that whole story but I am so ready to be done with this project so there's a super brief description fkdgjdfh)
This project far surpassed Renata's portrait as one of the most time-consuming and detailed pieces of digital art that I've done thus far. I feel like lately I've been really pushing myself with art, and drawing a lot and everything and just have been making so much progress!! ;o;
Though she doesn't think so, I had a lot of fantastic help from the lovely ~GabbleBabble. She's.... also the reason this file is so huge. She told me she wanted my art to always be amazing and detailed and stuff so we bumped up the dpi and BAM lots of pretty details (and a whole lot of PS crashing)!!!
I'm taking a break from intense art like this for a little while, anyway. With work stuff coming up and all that I really don't want to be distracted, and big projects like this distract me a LOT.
for the first time in a long time I am happy with my art fdkgjdkfh omggg
I swear this looks like an actual Apple promotional. And I agree, this is a huge file
But I really loved how you drew this thing. I especially like the little details such as the lighting, the rugs on Nolan's clothes, his hair, and even the strokes in the irises
This thing is flipping FANTASTIC. I still can't believe that it's as good as it is, although I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, seeing as you're such an awesome artist and will definitely make tracks in the industry! Keep up the great work, Red!! You're doin' brilliantly!!
